Dr. Jong-Chan Kim is currently a full professor at the Department of Automobile and IT Convergence, Kookmin University. He received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Seoul National University, Korea, in 1999, 2001, and 2013, respectively. Then, from Sept. 2013 to Feb. 2014, he was a research fellow at the Institute of Computer Technology, Seoul National University. He was also a visiting scholar at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, University of California, Irvine, from Mar. 2011 to Nov. 2011. In addition to his academic career, he also has more than eight years of industry experience at TmaxSoft, where he served as a software developer, developing various system software products that are being used across various industry domains.
