Jan Styczyński is a full professor in the Department of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology, Jurasz University Hospital, Collegium Medicum Nicolaus Copernicus University, Bydgoszcz, Poland. He is also a National Consultant in pediatric oncology and hematology. He obtained a degree of doctor of Medical Sciences in 1996 from the Council of the Faculty of Medicine of the Medical University of Bydgoszcz and a degree of Doctor Habilitated in Medical Sciences in 2005 from Collegium Medicum Nicolaus Copernicus University in Bydgoszcz. He received the scientific title of professor in 2010. In 2010-2011, he completed postgraduate studies in health care management at the Poznań University of Economics. His scientific interests include pediatric oncology and hematology, hematopoietic cell transplantation, treatment complications, and supportive therapy.
