Dr. Myunghwan Byun received his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the Iowa State University in 2009. He was a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Physics (Cavendish Lab.), University of Cambridge, and in the Department of Polymer Science and Engineering at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst from 2010 to 2013. In 2015, he joined the Department of Advanced Materials Engineering at the Keimyung University as an Assistant Professor and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2021. His research interests include polymer thin film mechanics, materials synthesis for energy harvesting, unconventional lithography techniques, and self-assembly.
