Tong Hao received the B.Sc. degree in electronic science and technology from Nanjing University, Nanjing, China, in 2003, the M.Phil. degree in electronic and electrical engineering from the University of Bath, Bath, U.K., in 2004, and the D.Phil. degree in engineering science from the University of Oxford, Oxford, U.K., in 2009. From2010 to 2011, he was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the University of Birmingham, Birmingham, U.K. From 2012 to 2014, he was a Specialist with the Oil and Gas Sector, General Electric Company, Farnborough, U.K. He is currently a Full Professor with the College of Surveying and Geo-Informatics, Tongji University, Shanghai, China. His current research interests include enhanced detection, sensing, and interpretation of subsurface/subglacial targets using electromagnetic and acoustic technologies.
