Sońia P. M. Venturahasa, Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, is an Assistant Professor in the Chemistry Department of University of Aveiro, Portugal, and member of Aveiro Institute of Materials (CICECO), University of Aveiro, Portugal. Her main research interests comprise the development of sustainable separation platforms for value-added compounds obtained from marine and freshwater raw materials and residues, contributing to the development of the biorefinery concept supported by a circular economy strategy.
