Hye Jin You earned, from the Yonsei University, a BS in Biochemistry (1998) and, from GIST, a PhD in Cellular Signaling (2005). She is now the Principal Investigator of the Cancer Microenvironment Branch, National Cancer Center, South Korea. Her work in Cancer Science and Signaling has resulted in more than 40 publications, presentations, lectures, and courses.  Her research interests include rare cancer, biomarkers, cancer cell signaling for plasticity, IGF-1, TGF beta, and so on.
