Biography
Specialized metabolites provide an amazing oportunity to study evolution of plants. Combined with other markers, both phenetic and molecular, chemophenetics, coupled with bioinformatics and biogeography, study of plant metabolites offers the opportunity to better understand the evolution of plants. Additionally, study of plant metabolites connects a fundamental study of evolution to everyday life through the bioactivity of plant metabolites and application in pharmacy and agriculture.
