Dr. Zhiwei Gao is reader and head of the Electrical Power and Control Systems Research Group at Northumbria University. His research interests include offshore energy (wind and wave), electrical vehicles, power electronics, control engineering, artificial intelligence, fault diagnosis and prognosis, resilient control, and health care systems.
