Weiping Jiang works at the GNSS research center of Wuhan University and is the director of this center. He received his Ph.D. from Wuhan University in June 2001 and then became a postdoctoral research associate at the Nordic Volcanological Center in Iceland from August 2003 to August 2004. Weiping Jiang was a visiting Professor at Stuttgart University from March to December 2007. He has been a professor at Wuhan University since 2005. His current research interests are the theory of satellite geodesy and its applications. Weiping Jiang won the second prize in the China National Science and Technology Progress Award twice and was also awarded the first prize in the Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award six times. He was also supported by the “China National Hundred, Ten Thousand Talents Project” and the Program for Changjiang Scholars of the Ministry of Education of China. Meanwhile, he won the Twelfth Youth Science and Technology Prize of China and the National Science Foundation for Distinguished Young Scholars of China.

Short Biography

Weiping Jiang works at the GNSS research center of Wuhan University and is the director of this center.
