Umberto Galderisi earned, from the University “Federico II”, a degree in Biological Science (1987) and a Ph.D. in Embryology and Histology (1992). He is now Full Professor of Molecular Biology at the School of Medicine, University of Campania "Luigi Vanvitelli", Naples, Italy and Adjunct Professor at the College of Science, Temple University. He has published more than 170 publications in peer-reviewed journals with an h-index of 44 (Scopus, 31 January 2024). His research interests include Senescence, Stem cells, the cell cycle, apopotosis and differentiation.
