Prof. Dr. Yong Chen is an Associate Professor at the School of Mechanical Engineering, Guangxi University. He completed his Ph.D. studies at the Saga National University, Japan, and has been awarded the China Industry-University-Research Cooperation Innovation Award, Second Prize of the China Automobile Industry Science and Technology Progress Award, and the Gold Medal at the 48th Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions. He has published over 140 scientific and technical papers, including over 40 SCI & EI papers, and serves as Vice President of the Tianjin Automotive Engineering Society, Special Advisor of the China Gear Association, and Member of the International Organization for Standardization ISO/TC60/SC2/WG. His research topics mainly include electric vehicles, transmission, electrical driving systems, and energy management.
