Postdoctoral researcher and lecturer at the Faculty of Agronomy, Universidad de la República (Uruguay), with a focus on the sustainability of pasture-based livestock systems. My research centers on the monitoring and mitigation of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, particularly enteric methane in pasture-based dairy systems, while also encompassing other ruminant species such as beef cattle, sheep, and South American camelids. Specialised in the SF₆ tracer gas technique for enteric methane assessment. While my work is currently based in Uruguay, I participate in regional and international collaborative research initiatives aimed at advancing sustainable animal production, with active involvement in projects across Latin America and Europe.
