Migliorini is an Associate Professor of Agronomy and Crop Production at the University of Gastronomic Science. She graduated in Agricultural Sciences and Technologies at the University of Florence (Italy) and a Ph.D. at the same university. From 2001 to 2008 she was a research fellow at the University of Florence in the Faculty of Agriculture where she was the technical coordinator of the Montepaldi Long Term Experiment, of two national projects on the assessment of sustainability in organic farms (SIMBIOVEG, EQUIZOOBIO) and of other projects on the management of fertility and biodiversity in organic agriculture (AGRIBIO, BIOMUGELLO, BIOSIENA). She is the author of 100 technical and scientific publications in international and national journals, monographs, book chapters, and conference proceedings. She is the Convenor of the Master in Agroecology and Food Sovereignty as well as several other courses. She is the President of Agroecology Europe.
