Has experience in Animal Science, particularly concerning the following subjects: beef cattle nutrition, carcass and meat quality, lipids metabolism, fetal and neonatal programming, and nutrigenomics. At present, he is a professor at Universidade Federal de Lavras and Vice-Rector for Planning and Management.
