Dr. A. G. M. B. Mustayen is currently working as a postdoctoral research fellow (international) at the Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN), Malaysia, in the Institute of Power Engineering, from the 3rd of July 2023. He received his PhD from the University of Tasmania, Hobart, Australia. He was a postgraduate research assistant at the University of Malaya from 2012–2014. He has 20 publications with 641 citations (Google Scholar, August 2025). His skills and expertise include smart microgrids, hybrid power generation, waste recycling energy, and artificial intelligence.
