Ibrahim Elgendy received the Ph.D. degree in the School of Computer Science and Technology, Harbin Institute of Technology, China in 2021, and the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in the Computer Science Department, Faculty of Computers and Information, Menoufia University, Egypt in 2010, 2016 respectively. He is currently an Assistant Professor with the Computer Science Department of the Faculty of Computers and Information, Menoufia University, Egypt. His research interests are primarily in cloud computing, mobile edge computing, Internet of Things, Security, and distributed computing. Furthermore, he has been reviewing more than 80 papers for many International Journals including IEEE Internet of Things Journal, IEEE Transactions on Communication, IEEE Transactions on Cloud Computing, IEEE Wireless Communications Letters, Information Sciences, Journal of Ambient Intelligence and Humanized Computing, Computer Communications, IEEE Sensors Journal, Multimedia Tools and Applications, IEEE Access, Wireless Communications and Mobile Computing, etc. Dr. Elgendy is an associate editor of the International Journal of Information Security and Privacy (IJISP) and the International Journal of Smart Security Technologies (IJSST). He also got two certifications from an international company about how to develop mobile applications using IBM Worklight, and how to develop a web application using IBM Bluemix.
