Prof. Dr. Xiaohong Zhang is a professor at
the School of Mathematics and Data Science, Shaanxi University of Science and
Technology. She received a doctorate in computer software and theory from
Northwestern Polytechnical University in 2005. She was a senior visiting
scholar at the University of Regina in Canada from October 2008 to February 2009.
She has been engaged in teaching and scientific research in colleges and
universities for a long time. She has been a professor at Shaanxi University of
Science and Technology, Ningbo University, Shanghai Maritime University, and
Shaanxi University of Science and Technology. In September 2019, she was
awarded the title of National Model Teacher. She currently serves as a director
of the China Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI), deputy director of
the CAAI Artificial Intelligence Fundamentals Committee, and executive director
of the Fuzzy Information and Engineering Branch of the Chinese Society for
Operations Research, etc. Her research fields include fuzzy logic and
non-classical logic algebra, rough set theory, data analysis and mining, artificial
intelligence foundation, intelligent control and decision-making.
