Dr. Weizhou Zhang is a professor in the Department of Pathology, Immunology and Laboratory Medicine, College of Medicine, University of Florida Health. He conducted breast cancer research during his postdoctoral fellowship in the Karin Laboratory at the University of California, San Diego, where he underwent thorough training on cancer models to study how inflammation and inflammatory signaling impact cancer progression and metastasis. He mainly studies signaling pathways involved in cancer progression.
