Researcher at the Instituto Tecnológico de Durango, where he leads the Technofunctional Biopolymers Research Group within the Laboratory for New Product Development. His main research focuses on the valorization of agro-industrial by-products, particularly the utilization of bean hulls for obtaining biopolymers and compounds of industrial interest. His work includes the synthesis, characterization, and rheological and thermal modeling of biopolymers, as well as the development of functional and sustainable materials for food applications
