Natalia Rovella is a Researcher at the Institute on Membrane Technology (ITM) of the National Research Council of Italy (CNR). She completed her PhD in Earth Sciences at the University of Calabria in 2014. Her research activity is developed in the field of Mineralogy and Petrography applied to Environment and Cultural Heritage. Over time, she has dealt with diagnosis, archaeometry, and conservation topics about natural and artificial stone materials used in Cultural heritage coming from Italy and foreign countries. Moreover, she is engaged with the formulation of innovative nanomaterials to be applied in new protocols for the conservation of Cultural Heritage, financed by National and International Research Projects. She has 47 publications with 1813 citations and an h-index of 14 (Scopus, 12 October 2023).
