Emanuele Zappa is a Full Professor in Mechanical and Thermal Measurements with Politecnico di Milano, Italy. His scientific activity is mainly in the field of mechanical and image-based measurements, focusing on measuring techniques development, applications in complex and hostile environments, and the qualification of, and reduction in, the measuring uncertainty in dynamic applications. He is also Associate Editor-in-Chief of the IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement.
