Research in my laboratory focuses on investigating the molecular mechanisms that drive cell division in mammalian brain development and their relationships with neurodevelopmental disorders, as well as with brain tumors. We base our mechanistic studies on a variety of cellular models, including human and mouse immortal cell lines, as well as primary cultures from mouse and rat embryos. We also pursue computational approaches for elucidation of gene function.
