In 2014 he took a Ph.D. in Nanoscience and Nanotechnologies at Italian Institute of Technology (IIT), in Genoa. He gained an extensive knowledge about microscopic techniques in particular in AFM on biological systems. He spent two years as Postdoctoral Researcher at University of Liège (Belgium) in Nanochemistry and Molecular System laboratory and the Protein Engineering Center enhancing his expertise in single-molecule techniques. Then, he moved in CNR-NANO S3 of Modena in the Nanobio laboratory. Here, he carry out Force Spectroscopy investigations of mechanical properties of living cells as well as he studies biological membrane models by exploiting most common biophysical techniques.
