Sang Geon Kim is a Professor at the College of Pharmacy and Integrated Research Institute for Drug Development, Dongguk University. He received his B.S. and M.S. from the College of Pharmacy, Seoul National University (SNU) in 1982 and 1985, respectively, and earned his Ph.D. from the Department
of Pharmacology, Northwestern University Medical School in 1989. He served as an Assistant Professor(Research)/Research Associate at the Institute of Chemical Toxicology, Wayne State University (1990–1992), an Associate/Assistant Professor at the College of Pharmacy, Duksung Women’s University (1992–1999), an Associate/Assistant Professor at the College of Pharmacy, SNU (1999–2006), and was promoted to Professor in 2006. He was also the President of the Korean Pharmacological Society, and the president of Korean Society of Toxicology.
