Flavia Prodam is an Associate Professor in Clinical Nutrition at the Department of Health Sciences, University of Piemonte Orientale, Italy. She graduated in Medicine from the University of Turin in 2001 and gained her post-graduate qualification in Endocrinology and Metabolism in 2006. In 2010, he was awarded a PhD from the University of Piemonte Orientale. Her research interests include Obesity, adipose tissue, Nutrition and microbiota, Type 2 and type 1 diabetes, Vitamin D deficiency, Hormonal, metabolic, and nutritional control of ghrelin and other gut peptides in humans, Neural control of GH secretion during life span in humans, and Growth. She is a member of the European Consortium of Lipodistrophies (ECLip).
