In this paper, we find the solution of the time-fractional Newell-Whitehead-Segel equation with the help of two different methods. The newell-Whitehead-Segel equation plays an efficient role in nonlinear systems, describing the stripe patterns' appearance in two-dimensional systems. Four case study problems of Newell-Whitehead-Segel are solved by the proposed methods with the aid of the Antagana-Baleanu fractional derivative operator and the Laplace transform. The numerical results obtained by suggested techniques are compared with an exact solution. To show the effectiveness of the proposed methods, we show exact and analytical results compared with the help of graphs and tables, which are in strong agreement with each other. Also, the results obtained by implementing the suggested methods at various fractional orders are compared, which confirms that the solution gets closer to the exact solution as the value tends from fractional-order towards integer order. Moreover, proposed methods are interesting, easy and highly accurate in solving various nonlinear fractional-order partial differential equations.

In this paper, the Elzaki transform decomposition method is implemented to solve the time-fractional Swift–Hohenberg equations. The presented model is related to the temperature and thermal convection of fluid dynamics, which can also be used to explain the formation process in liquid surfaces bounded along a horizontally well-conducting boundary. In the Caputo manner, the fractional derivative is described. The suggested method is easy to implement and needs a small number of calculations. The validity of the presented method is confirmed from the numerical examples. Illustrative figures are used to derive and verify the supporting analytical schemes for fractional-order of the proposed problems. It has been confirmed that the proposed method can be easily extended for the solution of other linear and non-linear fractional-order partial differential equations.

In the last two decades, academicians have concentrated on the nanofluid squeezing flow between parallel plates. The increasing energy demands and their applications have seen the focus shifted to the hybrid nanofluid flows, but so much is still left to be investigated. This analysis is executed to explore the symmetry of the MHD squeezing nanofluid (MoS2/H2O) flow and the hybrid nanofluid (MoS2–SiO2/H2O–C2H6O2) flow between the parallel plates and their heat transport property. The heat transport phenomenon is analyzed with the magnetic field, thermal radiation, heat source/sink, suction/injection effect, and porous medium. In the present model, the plate situated above is in the movement towards the lower plate, and the latter is stretching with a linear velocity. The prevailing PDEs depicting the modeled problem with the aforementioned effects are transformed via similarity transformations and solved via the “bvp4c” function, which is an inbuilt function in MATLAB software. The control of the factors on the fields of velocity and temperature, heat transfer rate, velocity boundary layer patterns, and streamlines is investigated. The solution profiles are visually shown and explained. Furthermore, the Nusselt number at the bottom plate is larger for the (MoS2–SiO2/H2O–C2H6O2) hybrid nanofluid than for the (MoS2/H2O) nanofluid flow. In the presence of suction/injection, the streamlines appear to be denser. In addition, the magnetic field has a thinning consequence on the velocity boundary layer region. The results of this study apply to several thermal systems, engineering, and industrial processes, which utilize nanofluid and hybrid nanofluid for cooling and heating processes.

In this paper, we establish some new results on the left-hand side of the q-Hermite–Hadamard inequality for differentiable convex functions with a critical point. Our work extends the results of Alp et. al (q-Hermite Hadamard inequalities and quantum estimates for midpoint type inequalities via convex and quasi-convex functions, J. King Saud Univ. Sci., 2018, 30, 193-203), by considering the critical point-type inequalities.

This article investigates different nonlinear systems of fractional partial differential equations analytically using an attractive modified method known as the Laplace residual power series technique. Based on a combination of the Laplace transformation and the residual power series technique, we achieve analytic and approximation results in rapid convergent series form by employing the notion of the limit, with less time and effort than the residual power series method. Three challenges are evaluated and simulated to validate the suggested method’s practicability, efficiency, and simplicity. The analysis of the acquired findings demonstrates that the method mentioned above is simple, accurate, and appropriate for investigating the solutions to nonlinear applied sciences models.

In this paper, we prove some new Newton’s type inequalities for differentiable convex functions through the well-known Riemann–Liouville fractional integrals. Moreover, we prove some inequalities of Riemann–Liouville fractional Newton’s type for functions of bounded variation. It is also shown that the newly established inequalities are the extension of comparable inequalities inside the literature. Finally, we give some examples with graphs and show the validity of newly established inequalities.
