It mainly engages in research on explosion impact dynamics, mechanical unconventional material design, and other related fields.Academic positions include experts from an expert group of the Military Science and Technology Commission, deputy director of the High Energy Materials Frontier Science Center, deputy director of the Beijing Key Laboratory of Lightweight Multifunctional Composites and Structuresdirector of the Joint Laboratory of Advanced Structure Technology for Space Vehicles, deputy leader of the underwater explosion dynamics professional group of the Chinese Mechanics Society 《Defence Technology》、 Editorial board member/young editorial board member for more than 10 journals including China Shipbuilding Research, Modern Applied Physics, Journal of High Voltage Physics, Aerospace General Technology, and Journal of Fire and Explosive Materials.
