Dr Vesna Dragicevic is a Principal Research Fellow, working in the Department of Agro-ecology and Cropping technology, Maize Research Institute. She obtained a PhD degree in the Biotechnological Science field of Agronomic Sciences in 2007. The main field of her professional interest is agro-ecology, including the impact of different cropping systems and fertilizers on soil quality, plant growth, and nutritional quality, including bio-fortification, as well as plant physiology and biochemistry, with particular interest in tolerance to abiotic stress factors. She has over 300 articles published in international and national journals, as well as has presented at international and national conferences, with an h-index score of 11.
