Prof. Marino Paroli received his medical degree from Sapienza University of Rome in 1983 and specialized in Clinical Immunology in 1986. He is currently a tenured associate professor in Internal Medicine at Sapienza University of Rome on the Latina campus. His research topics include the pathophysiology of T lymphocytes, the immunopathogenetic mechanisms of autoimmune diseases, and the role of new drugs such as biologics and JAK inhibitors in the treatment of inflammatory rheumatic diseases.
