Biography
Giovanni Chimienti is a marine biologist studying corals and deep-sea environments at the Red Sea Research Center, King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), Thuwal (Saudi Arabia), and at the National Inter-University Consortium for Marine Sciences. His work encompasses black corals and octocorals taxonomy, population structure, habitat description and conservation.
