Eleonora Terreni is a Post-Doctoral Research Assistant at the Department of Pharmacy, University of Pisa since November 2018 working in the Pharmaceutical Development field. She's research is mainly focused on the development of nano-scaled drug delivery systems for nano medicine to overcome physiological barriers and increase drug bioavailability. In her research, she always focuses on the real applicability of the formulation, developing manufacturing process of the formulation with potential industrial scale-up. She received her Master Degree in Pharmacy (PharmD) from the University of Pisa, Italy, in April 2015, and, in the same year, her EEA as pharmacist and pharmacist technician. In May - July 2015 she worked as Graduated Research Assistant, and from August-November of the same year she won and participated to the Erasmus + - Internship program to University of Hertfordshire (UK) were she researched on transdermal drug delivery systems. In January 2019, she obtained her Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Science and Bioactive Molecule (SSD: CHIM/09) (with honours). She spent part of her PhD-program in Kingston University London (UK) to formulated combined nano-scaled drug delivery systems. During her studies she obtained undergraduate and graduated Fellowships for her good Academic studies. She serves as Reviewer for Pharmaceutical Development and Technology Journal; Clinical Ophthalmology Journal; International Journal of Nanomedicine; Clinical, Cosmetic and Investigational D
