I mostly strive to create computer simulation models of complex using system dynamics, agent based simulation, discrete system simulation, or hybrids of above. My models are theory-driven, but I am also interested in data driven approaches. I suspect that thoughtful combinations of theory and data driven models will be superior to one or the other. Subject matter includes health policy, esp related to the opioid crisis and recovery from traumatic brain injury, and social ecological systems and sustainable systems in general.
