Monika Wujec is a Polish pharmacist, professor of pharmaceutical sciences, and lecturer at the Medical University of Lublin. She graduated in 1994 from the Medical University in Sosnowiec with a Master’s degree in Pharmacy and began working at the Department of Organic Chemistry of the Medical University in Lublin. She defended her doctoral thesis under the supervision of Prof. Maria Dobosz. In 2010, she obtained her habilitation, and in 2014, she received the title of professor of pharmaceutical sciences. Her skills and expertise are drug chemistry, heterocyclic compounds, and organic chemistry. Monika Wujec is a member of the Committee on Therapeutics and Drug Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the vice chairman of the board of the Medicinal Chemistry section of the Polish Pharmaceutical Society, and a member of the board of the Polish Society of Medicinal Chemistry.
