Kara leads a team at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre researching breast cancer risk in an effort to develop preventative therapies. Kara’s research is supported by the National Health and Medical Research Council, Victorian Cancer Agency, and the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. Her research interests include understanding why breast density increases cancer risk. Kara is a member of InforMD and is part of the Why Study Mammographic Density? Conference organising committee.
