Dmitry Gorin is a professor at the Center for Photonic Science and Engineering at the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (Russia). He received his C.Sc. in 2001 and his D.Sc. degree in physical chemistry in 2011 from Saratov State University (SSU). From 2005 till 2009, he visited the Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces (MPICI). From 2009 till 2010, he worked at the MPICI (Prof. H. Moehwald’s group). From 2011 until 2017, he held a professorship at SSU. He was the promoter of 11 C.Sc. and 2 D.Sc. theses. His lab’s interests are biophysics, biophotonics, and physics of colloids and interfaces.
