Prof. Andrea Cioncolini is an Associate Professor within the Department of Mechanical Engineering (Robotics) at Guangdong Technion‑Israel Institute of Technology, Shantou, China. He obtained his Laurea degree in Engineering and his PhD in Nuclear Engineering focusing on nuclear thermal hydraulics from the Polytechnic University of Milan, Italy. Before joining Guangdong Technion‑Israel Institute of Technology in 2022, he worked at the University of Manchester, United Kingdom, where he progressed from Lecturer to Senior Lecturer and then Reader. His research interests cover experimental and computational thermo‑fluid dynamics, flow boiling and multiphase flow.
