Biography
I was born in the Czech Republic and studied Chemistry at Charles University, Prague. Later I specialized on X-ray diffraction and then on electron microscopy and micromechanical properties of polymers. Current research interests: polymer morphology, electron microscopy, micromechanical properties of polymers, UHMWPE for total joint replacements, bio-based polymer blends and composites.
