Prof. Germán Vicente-Rodríguez is head of the master in evaluation and exercise prescription for health at the Faculty of Health and Sport Sciences, University of Zaragoza. He completed his PhD in Sport Sciences at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and was awarded a PhD prize. He recently led the projects of the EXERNET-Elder cohort. He has published 270 papers in various journals and serves as a President for EXERNET, the Spanish network for exercise and health research, and many other research projects. His teaching disciplines include physical activity and health, and his interests include exercise physiology, exercise prescription, body composition, and exercise and nutrition interaction for health.
