Xing
Yang holds a Ph.D in Civil &
Environmental Engineering from Nanyang Technological University and is
currently a Professor of Process Engineering for Sustainable Systems at KU
Leuven University. Prior to this, Xing Yang was a Senior Research Fellow at the
Institute for Sustainable Industries & Liveable Cities, Victoria University.
Xing Yang’s research interests include membrane-based technology for process
intensification; transport phenomena across membranes; multi-scale mathematical
modeling; downstream bioprocessing, separation, and purification of
biopharmaceuticals; recovery of minerals and metals from waste and natural
sources; chemical concentration and crystallization; and pre-concentration
devices for chemical sensing.
