Dr. Mona Ahmed El-Zamkan is a Professor of Food Hygiene and Control at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Qena University, Qena, Egypt, where an active role is also held as the Head of the Scientific Research and Scientific Activities standard for the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Unit. Academic leadership includes serving as the Editor-in-Chief of the SVU-International Journal of Veterinary Sciences (SVU-IJVS), guiding its editorial vision and indexing growth. Research expertise centers on advanced food microbiology, AMR in food chains, advanced bioinformatics and clean-label biopreservation. Postgraduate training, laboratory supervision, and international collaborative research remain core commitments, directed toward advancing food safety standards and dairy technology innovations.
