Christine Böckmann is a Professor of Numerics of Inverse Problems at the Institute of Mathematics, Potsdam University. She holds a PhD in Mathematics from Dresden University of Technology and a Habilitation degree in Atmospheric Physics and has more than 35 years’ experience in numerical research with respect to inverse ill-posed Problems, regularization techniques and Sturm-Liouville Problems as well as in application of mathematical methods in Atmospheric Physics. Christine Böckmann has published more than 70 scientific papers in international, peer-reviewed journals and she works as reviewer and editor for international journals. She has more than 30 years’ experience in management and coordination of several research projects at national and European Union level. Christine Böckmann has been a principal investigator within EARLINET-Project (2000-2003), EARLINET-ASOS-Project (2006-2011), Marie-Curie-Project ITaRS (2012-2016) and ACTRIS2-Project (2016-2019).
