TAO PEI received the PhD degree from China University of Geosciences, in 1998. He is currently a professor at the State Key Laboratory of Resources and Environmental Information System, Institute of Geographical Sciences and Natural Resources Research. His research interests include spatial big data mining, and Geostatistics.
