I was graduated from Irkutsk Aviation Engineering Institute as an electronic engineer in 1993. My professional research career began in 1997. I took up studying the theory of Ionosphere and its impact on Space-based radio systems. In 2000 I was graduated from Irkutsk State University as PhD in Radio-wave Physics (dissertation thesis is “Development of a local adoptive ionosphere model for GNSS corrections”). This led me to keep researching in Space Weather impact on GNSS/DGPS performance and applied for Post-Doc studying Program of Siberian Federal University. I was graduated as a Doctor of Science in Engineering in 2011. My doctoral dissertation was entitled as “Space Weather impacts and GNSS/DGNSS performance improvement under unfavorable geophysical conditions”. The second area of my professional activity relates to my basic specialty as an engineer (in transportation). I took up working for Irkutsk State Transport University in 2009 as a professor and researcher. Space Weather impact on the GNSS-based transport traffic control systems is a great challenge for the research and engineering community. I got more than 15 years of experience in the technical writing, reviewing and editing in the area of Earth and Environmental Sciences and Engineering. I collaborate with high-impact journals (GPS Solutions, J. of Geophys. Research (Space Phys.), Remote Sensing, et al) and Editorial boards (InTech Open Publisher and Universe (MDPI)) as a Reviewer, a Guest and Academic Editor.
