Prof. Weiwei Chen is a Supervisor at the Northeast Institute of Geography and Agroecology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He completed his BSc studies at Jilin Agricultural University (2004), MSc studies at Jilin Agricultural University (2007), and PhD studies at the Institute of Atmospheric Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Institute of Meteorology, Climate and Atmospheric Environment, Karlsruhe University of Technology, Germany (KIT) (2011). His fields of study include the causes and control of complex air pollution, atmospheric environment and climate adaptation mechanisms and response strategies, and synergistic health effects of air pollution and climate change, and his interests include air quality, greenhouse gases, WRF-CMAQ, WRF-Chem, agricultural emissions, and climate change.
