Elisabet Rothenberg is a registered dietitian and holds a Ph.D. Her thesis concerned energy and nutrient intake, food habits, and energy expenditure in 70 year olds in Gothenburg. Her research interest is dietary intake and body composition in ageing. Currently, she is an assistant professor at Kristianstad University with the department of Food and Meal Science. She is involved in research projects concerning the food and nutrition intake of older adults, co-author of several text books on health and nutrition, and a frequently hired lecturer. She has experience with involvement in national and international guideline committees. She is a Swedish member of the ESPEN council.
