Dr. Michal Brylinski is currently an Associate Director of Machine Learning and Data Science at the Center for Computation and Technology, Louisiana State University. He is also an Associate Professor of the Department of Biological Sciences at Louisiana State University. He received a Doctor of Pharmacy from Wroclaw Medical University in 2000, a PhD in Chemistry from Jagiellonian University in 2006 and finished his Postdoc in Computational Biology at the School of Biology, Georgia Institute of Technology in 2008. His research interests include panomics data science, bioinformatics, cheminformatics, genomics, network pharmacology, structural biology, chemical biology, systems biology, drug discovery, drug repositioning, deep learning, high-performance computing, and heterogeneous computing.
