Mrs. Agnieszka Kruszecka-Krówka

Agnieszka Kruszecka-Krówka is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Clinical Nursing at the Institute of Nursing and Midwifery at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Jagiellonian University Medical College. She has conducted practical classes and lectures on pediatric nursing and childcare in chronic diseases. She also coordinates clinical classes in burn care. She is an instructor of medical simulation and conducts practical and medical simulation classes under the Erasmus+ program. Since 2008, Kruszecka-Krówka has worked as a nurse at the University Children's Hospital in Krakow in the Department of Children’s Diseases. She completed courses in the field of medical simulation in pediatrics, medical statistics, prescribing drugs, advanced educational techniques in medical science and many specialist courses. She is the author of chapters in medical textbooks and actively participates in Polish and international scientific conferences. She is also the author and co-author of numerous scientific publications. Her scientific interests are primarily the quality of nursing care in pediatric wards, patients’ satisfaction with care, emotionality of pediatric patients in chronic diseases, as well as their parent's or guardian's emotional situation. In her publications, she also promotes children's rights and ethics in pediatrics and pediatric nursing.
