Dr. Olga Mediano, MD, PhD, currently serves as the Head of the Pulmonology Section at the University Hospital of Guadalajara and holds the position of Associate Professor at the university (Madrid, Spain). She is presently the Director of Group 5 at the Biomedical Research Networking Center for Respiratory Diseases (CIBERES). Dr. Mediano is a member of the executive committee of the Spanish Sleep Network and an active participant in the Spanish Society of Pulmonology and Thoracic Surgery (SEPAR) and the Spanish Sleep Society (SES). Her recent research endeavors have been dedicated to investigating the consequences of Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA), with a focus on cardiovascular risk and the pediatric population.
