I am Dr. Md. Abu Hanif, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the International University of Business Agriculture and Technology (IUBAT), Dhaka, Bangladesh. I completed my B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Chemistry at the University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh, in 2012 and 2013, respectively, followed by a second M.Sc. degree in 2018 and a Ph.D. in 2021 from the Department of Bioactive Material Sciences at Jeonbuk National University, Republic of Korea. I subsequently worked as an Associate Researcher (Postdoctoral Researcher) and Research Professor at the Institute of Carbon Technology, Jeonju University, South Korea. I also served as a Lecturer in the Department of International Engineering and Science at Jeonbuk National University, Republic of Korea. My research interests include the synthesis, fabrication, and characterization of advanced nanomaterials and nanocomposites; photocatalytic degradation of organic pollutants; wastewater treatment and toxicity assessment; photocatalytic and electrochemical water splitting; hydrogen evolution reaction (HER); oxygen evolution reaction (OER); and catalyst development for hydrogen fuel cells. I am passionate about developing innovative materials and sustainable technologies for environmental remediation, clean energy production, and a greener future.
