Achille Tarsitano has been an Associate Professor of Maxillofacial Surgery at the Department of Biomedical and Neuromotor Sciences of the University of Bologna since 2021. Previously, he held the role of University Researcher at the same university, starting from 2014. He is the Director of the Complex Operative Unit of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery of the IRCCS University Hospital of Bologna, and the Head of the Oncology PDTA for Head and Neck Tumors at the IRCCS University Hospital of Bologna. He is mainly interested in oncological surgery of the maxillofacial district, oral and maxillofacial surgery, computer-assisted surgery, and new technologies applied in surgery.
